Alpha of the Week Hey guys, @financewithjaygandhi here. | We had HUGE news over the weekend. China's biggest memory maker, CXMT, announced a breakthrough in DRAM chips: a smaller 4F² cell design that could pack way more memory into every chip, with server DDR5 memory planned by end of 2026. The market did NOT like that. Memory stocks got hammered: Micron down ~4%, SK Hynix down 10%, Samsung down 7%. | Here's the thing: CXMT hasn't proven it can make these at scale yet. So the question is whether this is a real threat or an overreaction. These are the 3 stocks I am thinking about over the next 2 weeks. | 👇 | 1. Micron (MU), the US memory play. Fell hard Monday, but it's still up huge this year on AI demand. The question: does the AI memory boom outweigh the China fear? | 2. SK Hynix, the biggest loser of the three, down 10% Tuesday. But it's the HBM leader feeding NVIDIA. If AI demand holds, this drop could be noise. | 3. Samsung, the giant. Down 7%, but it's diversified way beyond memory: phones, chips, everything. The safest of the three if memory prices actually crack. | Not financial advice. Always do your own research. |
